Details are starting to emerge regarding the Qatari diplomat who slipped into an airplane bathroom for a mid-flight smoke, touching off a bomb scare and creating minor media crisis.

Turns out that it was not a cigarette that Mohammed Al-Madadi was smoking, but something else all together.

Leave it to Fox News anchor Shep Smith to cut through the malarkey, and tell us what really went down.

It was just a routine consular visit, such as consular officials from all nations make to any citizen of their country who is jailed.

Qatar is our ALLY, and a very important one. They’re happy to have us lock up terrorists who happen to be Qatari citizens. If they gave a crap about what we were doing to this terrorist or even wanted to get any info from him, they wouldn’t be sending a incompetent junior clown of a consular employee to do the consular visit.
