I think personhood is the only eventual basis for outlawing Roe. But the argument about timing is not trivial. Given the mendacious theory of "stare decisis" as applied by scotus and the pusillanimous death-wing favoritism of the liberal court, a chilling fact must be faced: every decision which re-affirms Roe and which rules against personhood makes the hill we must climb that much steeper.

Timing makes a difference. the existence of roe, which slipped unto the law while bormal people were looking the other way, is proof. A year earlier or later and it would have been a different outcome. We need to learn that lesson. I trust Bopp, who has devoted his professional life to the issue.

I don't trust him at all. He's a Romney hack, and has argued for a "strategy" that entails another 35 years of abortion in this country.

Bopp's strategies are utterly failed.
