“Did I mention the state has a 1.2 billion dollar surplus? “

You don’t have 5 million illegal immigrants sucking you dry, either ;-)

"It would be a smart thing if sportsman boycotted all fishing and hunting licenses in CT for a year. It would bankrupt the Fish and Game Dept. and force them to rethink their strategy."

Unfortunately that's not how these people operate. You can't bankrupt them because they will just come up with another tax scheme and as far as causing them to rethink, surely you're kidding right?

I do agree however to not pay their fees and to at least cause them a temporary headache. As a matter of fact I'm getting to the point of not wanting to obey any laws or regulations that don't directly affect the safety of myself or others. Kind of like "civil disobedience" that the left is so fond of.

....in Conn, hunting and fishing come under the state’s EPA....get a load of their web site!....celebrating Earth Day!....think this is an abberation?...think again....more and more, the tree huggers have gotten control of state Fish and Game agencies...and part of that is because fewer and fewer of us hunt and fish anymore(especially in the north east)...meanwhile state Fish and Game depts have gotten bigger...just like other state bureaucracies...so they’re always wanting more revenue.

Yes, a few biologists lied and enacted a scam to try to keep the OWNERS of that land off of that land. You know they would have had access to it.

If public land is posted, it is in effect keeping the owners (we, the public) off our own land. Has any court challenge to a trespassing charge ever brought up that point?

They don’t care about the revenues;the PETA and envirowhackos are just using incrementalism to reduce the percentage of the population which fish or hunt;when that percentage is small enough, then all fishing and hunting will be banned under the Plan.

True. But, oddly enough all the signs at Home Depot are in Spanish here.

What’s the problem? $40 = just 72 cents in 1913 dollars.

I happen to be in WA now. I have a boat. I like fish. I thought I’d like to try my hand at fishing here...

.. until I learned about the regulations.

I buy my fish from the Injuns. They don’t have those problems. When we head back out to sea I can catch all I want with no hassles.

"Yes, I hate fishing. It's boring."

That's because you don't ever catch any fish. If you catch fish, its exciting.

Exactly. I never learned how to fish and never put any time into it. Too late now.

From the feds to many of the states, the government runs up massive amounts of debt and then expects us to bail them out. I say enough is enough. Vote these idiots out of office, the sooner the better.
