Obamaspeak or the Rule of lAW

We are protected from tyranny by our legal system. The The Constitution was written to guard those liberties, with the Supreme Court as its interpreter. The Court, however, has become increasingly political and routinely interprets laws consistent with whatever it views as “fair” or helpful to liberals. The cancerous growth of the Federal Government, in direct violation of the Constitution, is obvious to anyone with an IQ above room temperature. The public has finally awakened to the danger and seems to be prepared to fight back. Not a moment too soon…

Expedience, particularly in wartime, or presidential disdain are the problems. One need only look at the dismissive attitude and actions of Dishonest Abe during his war:

He arbitrarily suspended habeas corpus, perhaps the most important vehicle by which liberty can be maintained. It is axiomatic that if a political leader can arrest and detain any person for any reason, there is no liberty. When Justice Roger Taney, declared that only the Congress could suspend habeas corpus, and ordered individuals released, Lincoln simply ignored the law. Further he arrested and banished an inconvenient Ohio politician to the Confederacy for insufficient “right think”. That authority must lie with abortion in the “penumbra”.

FDR’s vote buying “New Deal” was largely struck down by the Court. FDR attempted to retaliate, in 1937, by “packing the court” via an increase the number of Justices (one each for sitting members over the age of 7o&1/2). The plan did not get through Congress and it died. The Court was beginning to get the message that it had better reread the Constitution with an emphasis on expedience. That led to its most disgraceful failure, allowing the FDR government to place in concentration camps 100,000 Americans because of their race.

Hitherto the modern Court...

Obvious to you and me, yes.

Simply stating that is insufficient, however, for convincing the American voters who have been sleep walking their entire lives.

Obamaspeak or the Rule of lAW

I thought it said "Obamaspeak and the Rule of I.A.W." You know, Islamic Awareness Week or Israeli Apartheid Week. It can also mean Internet Assisted Wank.

Status Check: Obama

There is a rumble in the land and it is not based in retaliation for the damage done to the country as much as it is rooted in adherence to Constitutional values that have been relegated to a lesser status. Americans have had a decision thrust on them by this President; either believe in a Constitution that has served them well over 240 years or believe in a Socialist ideology as proposed by this Congress and President.

Evidence is emerging that casts doubt on the President’s Constitutional qualification for office. Those who demand a vetting of those qualifications are “Constitutionalists” yet the media has assigned them the moniker of “birthers”. Since when has the pursuit of the facts become a political ploy? This is nothing but an effort to discredit the cause. It won’t work. The President has hired a variety of legal firms with the mission of keeping his credentials secret and has, by all reports, spent millions of dollars in pursuit of this mission. Concealment is not a viable policy. He should abandon this tact and expose the truth, whatever it may be and do it for the good of the country. The obvious purpose behind this agenda is to delay the revelation of the facts. As evidenced by his own behavior; the man is not qualified, under terms specified in the Constitution, to be President.

Evidence regarding the President’s qualifications will be presented before a court at some time in the near future. Americans have already witnessed a Congress that can be bought with back-room deals and underhanded tactics. Congressional approval ratings reflect a response to this behavior. The question that is rapidly taking prominence in the minds of Americans is; have the courts been bought off as well? Should there be a perception, on the part of the American citizenry, that the courts are not acting in a fair and objective manor; faith in the American system of justice will be dramatically eroded. The courts are designed to be and vested with authority to be the supreme arbitrators in the land. Should they defy the will of the people, as Congress has, Americans will be faced with an entirely new set of facts and will have to formulate a response.

Currency is valued strictly on faith. A dollar bill is only a scrap of paper unless it is believed to be backed up by the value it displays. Patriotism is faith in the ideals of a Nationality. Once that belief becomes damaged, there may well be an equal or opposite reaction to this revelation. We live in a time of great unrest. America has performed with unequalled valor, for more than 200 years, in its reaction to external threats. This is, without rival, the first time America has faced an internal threat of this nature. America’s response to it will determine the caliber of her people. Perhaps there isn’t enough America still left to save. Then again, maybe there is!
