Steele is right and he loves this country and liberty. I listened to him today at SRLC and if you are even thinking about touching Steele you are on the wrong side. Go pound sand.

Oh, he gave a good speech. So what? How does that cancel out all the other garbage he’s spewed?

One good speech will not be enough for me to change me mine. He needs to go! Or else, the republicans are doomed to failure until that happens!

His behavior and the behavior of his co-horts(the shade of their skin is unknown to me) is outlandish, embarrasing, and shameful. They’ve all run amok and they just want us to follow them over the cliff. Sorry Charlie, this old lady ain’t goin’ there.

I hereby declare myself independent of the republican(they don’t deserve the respect a capital R would bring) party. I’m still an ultra conservative, but if republicans who claim to represent me indulge their wildest desires or visit lesbian strip clubs on the company dime, they don’t represent me.

We should let this go until after the election, then see how it plays out.

Oh?... what garbage is that may I ask...the propaganda and spin out of someones mouth more important to you? I listened to him...not some jerk trying to tell us what he said. Yea...he does have a narrow margin of error..because of flipin’ progressives!

You got that right. Steele did a fabulous job with his speech today. I’m so sick of the BS detractors continually berating him. “Pound sand” was exactly what crossed my mind when I read the post.

One speech doesn’t change many actions and remarks. He’s a plant. See, for example, http://newsmax.com/InsideCover/steele-sharpton-nlpc-letter/2010/04/07/id/355032?s=al&promo_code=9B7F-1

Did he really MEAN to charge his Mastercard for the exotic dancer, but he whipped out his RNC expense account by mistake? The race card is the absolute last straw, and I don’t care how eloquent his speech was or wasn’t.

affirmative action by election remains affirmative action. Steele lacks the temperament, understanding, or principles. We picked a black to counter Obama, and got many of Obama’s worse character flaws with it.

Steele Still On Board With Scozzafava

"I support the republican nominee as the republican party chairman, and that's the way it should go, right?" Steele told NBC's Chuck Todd this morning during an interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe (video here--fast forward to 4:55). Conservatives far and wide have alleged Scozzafava is too liberal, as Hoffman has won endorsements from Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, Dick Armey, the Club for Growth, RedState, the National Review, and The Washington Times. Supporting him has become an emblem of conservative credibility.

Steele defends Snowe: 'She works in Maine' (stupid RINO alert)

Michael Steele : Some white Republicans are scared of me

Michael Steele, RNC Chair, strikes again.

In fact, when Hannity followed up on the point, Steele said he doesn't know if the GOP is ready to take back the reins of power. "I don't know. And that's what I'm assessing and evaluating right now. Those candidates who are looking to run have to be anchored in these principles," he said, referring to 5 conservative ideals he lays out in his new tome. "If they don't [anchor themselves], then they'll get to Washington, and they'll start drinking that Potomac River water, and they'll get drunk with power and throw the steps out the window."

Steele says Dems, GOP failing to address poverty (pandering to a black audience)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele on Monday said his party must take steps to win over black voters, and he faulted both Democrats and the GOP for failing to address poverty. Speaking at a historically black college near downtown Little Rock, Steele said Republicans and Democrats need to address poverty in discussions ranging from health care to environmental issues. "Dr. King would be disappointed in the political leadership of this country for failing to address the least of us," Steele, who is the first African-American head of the RNC, told an audience of more than...

That last one really ticks me off. Do a search on the keyword "steele". If you really want to find out what garbage he's spewed.

Cannot believe that people are still supporting Steele....he is no conservative....and would not be surprised if he was a DNC plant

Steele will hurt conservatives chances in 2010 and 2012....cannot have a porn star running the GOP while candidates are emphasizing family values

I hear obama’s pretty good at giving speeches, too.

Bull...he has a perfect temperament. He is under attack by progressives just like Palin was. What?...are the Republicans going to fall for this bait again? There is an important election coming and they want to cause trouble.

Don't be the stupid party.
