Bomb damages US consulate in Mexico; no injuries

MEXICO CITY (AP) -- The U.S. Embassy in Mexico says a bomb damaged the outside of the U.S. consulate in the border city of Nuevo Laredo, but there are no injuries.

a small blast was reported outside of the U.S. Consulate in Nuevo Lardeo in Mexico, according to Wire Update. There were no reports of injuries or deaths. The small, improvised device was thrown over the fence of the U.S. Consulate General and went off at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday. The windows were broken but no one was hurt in the incident.
