The left wing seems to know no bounds in its efforts to ideologically cleanse CNN of any seemingly rational point-of-view when it comes to the issues of the day.

Although liberal were successful in their effort to rid the network of Lou Dobbs, some elements are now hung up on also eliminating recently hired contributor Erick Erickson from CNN's programming.

And now a liberal group called Campaign for America's Future (CAF) is attacking CNN for planning to air a documentary called "I.O.U.S.A.: Solutions," suggesting the network is "fanning the flames of deficit hysteria." The group's co-director Roger Hickey is demanding CNN impose a "Fairness Doctrine" on itself.

"Whose voices will be shut out this weekend?" Hickey wrote.

Tell Hickey that if he wants a voice over the air waves, then he should raise some money and buy his own propaganda machine, er, I mean TV station. You have a right to say what you d@mn well want; you don't have a right to use someone else's property.

Dobbs quit the Cartoon News Network a year ago because the libs there thought he was too right wing for them. Then after leaving CNN, he stated that he was pro-illegal alien, which is a 180 degree turn from his anti-amnesty stand at CNN. He’s now contemplating running for senate.

Erickson is a RINO so I dont know why the moonbats are attacking their own.

Let ‘em waste their energy over censoring a channel that no one watches anyhow.

Campaign for America's Future (CAF)

That you again, Soros?

"is attacking CNN for planning to air a documentary called "I.O.U.S.A.: Solutions," suggesting the network is "fanning the flames of deficit hysteria.""

# 1. Few people watch CNN anyways.
# 2. It's impossible to "fan the flames of deficit hysteria". The sober reality is enough to send anyone into hysterics, without the need for anyone to fan it.

During the Reagan terms all we heard from the left was deficit, deficit, bad, bad. They, with the willing accomplices in the media were engaged in “deficit hysteria” at every turn. The deficit then was a fraction of what it is today.

Yea, CAF is a front for Institute for America's Future which is the backing for Tom Paine.com etc.
These Marxists have multiple layers. I wonder where all the money comes in?
They do have a location on K-Street in Washington DC so they are getting the bucks from someone.
Discoverthenetworks.org details them and their connections.

EVery political party OUT of power has harped about the deficits. Bottom line on Deficits was that as long as they were within a reasonable percentage of GNP, it was ok. Pretty much they had stayed that way for the last 50 years or so, until lately, and Obama has now totally screwed the pooch..
