I was a teen in the 60’s. I always admired his strength with so much adversity, yet he peacefully pushed forward. Dr. King was a Patriot. It was the democrats that fought against civil rights. But, I guess they don’t teach that in schools today.

Yes it was the democrats who fought civl rights. And it was Republicans who passed it.
