That’s what I was thinking. It’s hard to imagine they could be any more servile towards the Democrats than they are now. Perhaps with subsidies they’d give the Republicans the same kind of supine bootlicking when we were in power.

The only way to attempt objectivity is to declare all your own interests up front.Journalism's interests are in bad news.
Bad news interests the public but is not "in the public interest," obviously.
Journalism claims to be objective, which is the opposite of disclosing reasons why it might not be objective.
It follows that journalism makes no real attempt at objectivity.
