TRENTON, N.J. – A former New Jersey lawmaker who championed legislation fighting child pornography pleaded guilty Monday to distributing nude images of underage girls.
Neil Cohen, 59, acknowledged viewing and printing images meant for sexual gratification from a computer in his former legislative office. He left at least one image at a receptionist's desk, leading to the investigation and charges.
Cohen pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child by distributing child pornography and could be sent to state prison for five years when he is sentenced on July 12.
Under terms of a plea agreement, Cohen will have to register as a sex offender under Megan's law and be subject to lifetime supervision by the Parole Board when he is released from prison. He agreed never to seek public office again and to pay at least $1,800 in fines. His use of social networking Web sites also will be restricted.
Cohen, an attorney who now lives in Paramus, likely will be disbarred...

Yup, it sure would. But that’s how it goes here in The Peoples Republic of New Jersey. The Dems here are like the freakin’ Jesuits, they’re allowed to do what they like.
I love it when these politicos get hoisted on their own petard. Just like when Bill Clinton got hit with a federal civil rights suit by Paula Jones right after he signed the sexual harassment bill into law. It just too ironic.

Democrats for Kiddie Porn!
Somehow kiddie porn is available on the web. Wouldn’t the sites “offering” such porn be shut down by the feds? I’ve just never understood how or why it’s even accessible.
A lot of Democrat crooks wind up in jail in NJ. This guy is for sure going to be one of them.
What kind of jerk prints out kiddy porn and places it in a receptionist’s desk? Someone that dumb deserves to go to jail whether he’s a Republican or Democrat.
