The Left Squashes Life's Little Pleasures

Thank you, I liked that article.

It’s bizarre. The left is the Puritan party with a serious disconect. They approve of drugs and sex with animals, but they hate normal human beings having normal fun (eating good food and drinking good wine, looking fabulous, heck, even lighting a fire in the fireplace).

But that’s one of the reasons I think the left and Islam are perfect together: Islam disapproves of music, figurative (realistic) art, wine, BBQ, flirting and monogamy, and goes for a bleak, collectivist culture where the men spend their days chewing qat and the multiple wives spend their days slaving, and they have no art, no wine, no fireplace - and in fact, not even clean streets and pretty houses.

Obama cannot be allowed to do this to us.
