I’d sure like to know where the heck they're doing all the spending, cause it sure as hell ain’t in my store!
With a wholesale manufacturing business and a service/healthcare business, I can tell you they aren’t spending it with us, either.
We sometimes think we are the only ones afraid of the market whose businesses are doing poorly.
Our own spending is very tightly controlled. We have cut everything we can except TV and that is on borrowed time. We will take our first get-away together that isn’t family next month to attend a graduation party about 4 hours away.
Too late to get back in the market, too. Yet, all I hear from most of the folks we come in contact with is Happy Days Are Here Again.
