EAST COUNTY A 19-year-old Crest man scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on arson and burglary charges is the son of a Lakeside fire captain.
Kameron Nicholas Hisaw was arrested Sunday in connection with two arson fires in Crest. He is being held on $50,000 bail on two counts of arson and one count of first-degree burglary, according to jail records.
Hisaw is the son of John Hisaw, a captain with the Lakeside Fire Protection District.
Lakeside interim Fire Chief Andy Parr said news of the arrest was troubling for all of us.
Getting arrested for anything is bad, Parr said. John (Hisaw) is going to handle that through his own family, through his own way. So far he hasnt taken any time off. As far as were concerned, it is the adult son of an employee.
San Miguel fire officials said Kameron Hisaw was arrested after a neighbor spotted him and another man near a trailer that was set on fire early Sunday. The neighbor tackled the two men and put Hisaw in a headlock until Sheriffs deputies arrived. The second man is still being sought, said Sheriffs Sgt. Everard Dayrit of the bomb-arson unit.
The first fire was reported about 4:40 a.m. when the interior of a pickup truck was set on fire on Eucalyptus Drive near Juanita Drive. The second blaze was reported about a half-hour later in the trailer on Crest Drive, about a block away.
The burning trailer threatened a nearby house but fire crews were able to keep the blaze from seriously damaging the home, said San Miguel spokesman Leonard Villarreal.
He said there was no apparent motive for the two arson fires.
Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call the Sheriffs Department at (858) 565-5200.
Wow, how sad is this? It reminds me of my preacher's daughter who became one of the biggest sluts in our high school.
He must really hate his father.
