Syria Gave Scuds to Hezbollah, U.S. Says

JERUSALEM—Syria has transferred long-range Scud missiles to the Lebanese Shiite militant group Hezbollah, Israeli and U.S. officials alleged, in a move that threatens to alter the Middle East's military balance and sets back a major diplomatic outreach effort to Damascus by the Obama administration.

I know this is a re-post, but I think the evidence is firmer per this story today. Looks like that Obama diplomacy to Syria is paying off. Next time Hezbollah launches from Lebanon, it won't be rockets, it will be missles. Wonder if Iran will time it with going nuclear? Maybe not hope, but this is definitely change.

Yediot Ahronoth today quotes a source (?) as saying that Israel’s plan to send the IAF is on ice. Disinformation? It’s clear that scuds have changed hands, and Israel cannot abide it.

The more Hussein Obama bows to foreign leaders the more they know he's the runt of the litter of world leaders, a cowardly, dispicable weakling. Under Obama's watch every tyrannical nation on earth, (China, Russia, N. Korea, Iran, Syria, Venezuala) has made bold moves to expand their military capabilities and reach, while Obama bows to them, initiates pacts that weaken the U.S., and makes enemies of his own people.

The purpose of the outing is to put Syria on notice that retaliatory measure will include bombing of Damascus.

Okay, where’s this administration’s public condemnation and the charge that this threatens peace?

Israel builds new homes and Obama goes postal, practically cuts off relations with Israel, insults the Israeli President. Syria ships in major missiles to Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon, and crickets.

“Oh me oh my, I sure hope Israel doesn’t over-react.”

Obama is a joke.

More correctly put: Iran sent Syria Scuds where they were passed to Hezbollah via Syria.

Interesting contrast in relative provocations isn't it? Apartments vs. missiles. I wonder what's going on in Lebanon. Last time, Hezbollah had spent years hauling in their rocket launchers and preparing. Expect they're doing the same this time, and each time they escalate the weapons and the preparations. Are there still U.N observers there turning there heads the other way just like last time?

Yes there are.  Everyone knows what is taking place in Southern Lebanon too.  The U.N. remains mute.  Our administration remains mute.  Europe remains mute.

Evidently, the Iranian/Syrian/Hezbollah model of international dynamics gets the Good Housekeeping Seal of approval all around.

This is a damning reality for everyone 'not involved'.
