Of the many reactions I have to this allegation, the one I don’t have is surprise.
Sad to look at the current state of our country.

Wonder how the NY Slime staff and management would feel about all their personal and family information and identification being placed on the Internet with a link to this story (if they print it).

As chronicled here, here, here, and here the Central Intelligence Agency via the New York Times has been waging a nasty proxy war against the Department of Defense over its use of former military and intelligence personnel to do what the CIA is both incapable and unwilling to do: gather the much needed intelligence that keeps our troops safe. So the Media and Obama Administration are going to disclose names of covert agents endangering agents in the field?
Do it. Plamegate will be nothing compared to this corrupt scandal.

“Covered in blood” is the natural state of the New York Times, dating back at least as far as Walter Duranty and his concealment/whitewash of the Ukrainian Holodomor (famine).

Let’s see where to start.

Those that provided the list to the media should be taken out and immediately executed for treason, period.
Those in power that do not vigorously go after these traitors deserve a similar fate.

"I have just received word that the New York Times is preparing to go public with a list of names of Americans covertly working in Afghanistan providing force protection for our troops, as well as the rest of our Coalition Forces."The NYT is the best weapon enemies of the United States have...and proud of it.
To: Mount Athos
They should change their name to the New York Jihad.

"Do it. Plamegate will be nothing compared to this corrupt scandal. "Except the MSM will see to it that all who rely on them for their thoughts and opinions (which, unfortunately, is still many) will never know about this.
Whereas the distortions about Valerie Plame were bar-stool/grocery line conversation.

How does the citing of the true names of these people rather than pseudonyms improve the article in any way?
To: Mount Athos
I have just received word that the New York Times is preparing to go public with a list of names of Americans covertly working in Afghanistan providing force protection for our troops, as well as the rest of our Coalition Forces. If the Times actually sees this through, the red ink they are drowning in will be nothing compared to the blood their entire organization will be covered with. It may be time to take vigorous action.

FWIW, Brad Thor is a novelist whose specialty is espionage/spy thrillers. He is very well connected in this area and knows what he is talking about.
Additionally, his books are pretty darn good and he is a staunch conservative...
