32 bodies return to Warsaw Wednesday afternoon
14.04.2010 12:27
Thirty two coffins with the bodies of victims of the Smolensk air crash are expected to arrive at Warsaw airport at 16.00 CET today.
The coffin containing the body of last-president-exile Ryszard Kaczorowski will arrive on Thursday, one of 96 people who died on Saturday.
So far 64 victims of Saturday's tragedy have been identified.
Government spokesman Pawel Gras has said that not all the bodies will be returned to Poland in time for the state funeral ceremonies to be held in Warsaw on Saturday, however. The funeral of President Lech Kaczynski and wife Maria will take place on Sunday in Krakow.

Real tear-jerkers...
I can’t imagine what it would be like to lose such a HUGE part of the nation’s leadership, let alone those who fought to bring it freedom.

Heartbreaking for the Polish people, and my heart also breaks for the family members grieving over their lost loved ones. :*(
Prayers going up that the truth about this event gets out. Prayers that Poland doesn't lose its' FREEDOM.
Prayers going up that HolyO doesn't do something to totally embarrass the USA at the memorial service, like recommend Russia taking over Poland "for their own good" since so many of their leaders were assassinated murdered "accidentally" killed in the plane crash.

The Polish people have suffered greatly from the tyrants of the world. This is a horrible tragedy and prayers to these freedom loving courageous people.

65 of them still ahead of us...
Dear God! Forgive them as I have forgiven them all, no matter they are believers or atheists. Wipe the tears from their eyes and let them rejoice in Your Kingdom forever,
Amen.

I hope everyone notices who they trust to fly the coffins back. That ain’t a Polish plane and it sure isn’t a Russian.

It must be hard for those young guys to stand there and not show the emotion they must feel, both for the loss that has befallen their country and for the families’ loss as they come up to the coffins. jeez.

When asked by the chief of the presidential campaign to chose the entrance song for the beginning of his presidential campaign 2010, Lech Kaczynski hesitated and finally pointed at The Ballad of The Little Knight (Piesn o Malym Rycerzu). It is one of the most famous patriotic Polish songs. It is about colonel Michael Wolodyjowski, the best soldier of Jan III Sobieski, who was one of those who crushed the Islamic invasion on Poland in 1672-1673. He was of a short height but the best of all in combat, called the First Saber of the Republic.
Here's an explanation needed. Many of his political opponents mocked him for his short height. He was only 168cm tall (5ft 6")
So short yet so great! See these two movies and you'll realize why such a comparison...
