The first Scud launched from Lebanon that lands in Israel, may likely be followed shortly by an instantaneous sunrise over Damascus. I think the Israelis have had enough, they know they stand alone, and there is no reason to hold back much longer.
I agree. I think we’re closer than we think. Maybe the ‘RATS are counting on a war to pull their chestnuts out of the fire in November. Nothing like the buffoons on Capitol Hill standing on the steps of the Capitol singing “God Bless America” to get the incumbents re-elected.
I don’t know if it’s time to unleash the nukes just yet, but I agree that the first one of these SCUDS (essentially upgraded Nazi V-2s) that lands on an Israeli population center should be replied with a liberal dose of conventional ordnance on Damascus, with the same regard for collateral casualties as Hezbollah shows for Israel.
Of course if any WMD ride in the warheads of those SCUDs, I would expect invocation of the SAMPSON Option PDQ.
At this point it’s essentially Israel against the entire “Global Community” which, sad to say, now includes their former best allie, the US.
I think that they would rather go out in a blaze of defiance as line up to be marched into the gas chambers again. But I don’t think it’s really going to end that way.
