Obama: I'm “only thing between you and the pitchforks.” (2009)
POLITICO ^ | April 3, 2009 | By EAMON JAVERS

Arrayed around a long mahogany table in the White House state dining room last week, the CEOs of the most powerful financial institutions in the world offered several explanations for paying high salaries to their employees — and, by extension, to themselves.

* * *

But President Barack Obama wasn’t in a mood to hear them out. He stopped the conversation and offered a blunt reminder of the public’s reaction to such explanations. “Be careful how you make those statements, gentlemen. The public isn’t buying that.”

“My administration,” the president added, “is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.”

The fresh details of the meeting — some never before revealed — come from an account provided to POLITICO by one of the participants. A second source inside the meeting confirmed the details, and two other sources familiar with the meeting offered additional information.

President Obama's hints of mob violence directed at the financial sector were later confirmed by ABC and in staged demonstrations by ACORN and Working Families "protesters" and buffoonish rants by Congressional Democrats against an AIG $1-a-year whipping boy.

The only violence American citizens would ever impart would be against the ruling political class.

It’s always been socialists, communists, and anarchists like Ted Rall who dream of lynching CEOs from lampposts.

“How did we get here?”

###

Self-hating, guilty whites wanting to show themselves and their similarly clueless friends, how “progressive” they were by voting for the “cool” black guy.

“He’s a thug.”

Let’s not be harsh. It’s simply the Chicago Way. Expecting someone pickled in that environment for decades to behave any differently is like expecting a new puppy to be instantaneously house-broken. Of course, Obama was exactly obliged to surround himself with others similarly trained, such as Rahm, Axelrod and Jarrett. Without handlers to steer him away from such thuggery, he’s likely to hone it to a fine art: a bit like the puppy who never learns to be house-broken, but instead keeps sneaking off to a little used room to take a dump.

Well, he did say his administration was between the pitchforks and the corporate CEO’s, so I guess that means the Obama administration gets attacked by the angered populace first.

Quite frankly, a lot of corporate CEO’s deserve the pitchfork treatment, too, but from their shareholders, not the public at large. Any executive (CEO, CFO, whatever) whose fat compensation package is not tied to delivering value to the shareholders (remember them, the actual capitalists, who in theory own the company?) deserves to be shown the door and replaced with someone who understands that the job of the corporate executive is as a fiduciary for the owners.

"'My administration,' the president added, iis the only thing between you and the pitchforks.'"

Ya know, we got "threatened" with mass riots IF obama "didn't win the election". Now, this Chicago punk is threatening these CEO's to "align them with his way of thinking".

It's about time America called obama's bluff...bring it on.

If you and the Chia heads want to riot in the streets, have at it, but we won't roll over and give you America on a silver platter.

This president placeholder is delusional. We just got past Waxman wanting to call CEO's "on the carpet" for daring to say something about the negative effects of obamacare (which is everything about it); then at the "summit", obama insulted and "pulled rank" and bullied his way at the Republicans.

This administration is nothing more than a Chicago "protection racket"..."you play our game, and you'll be safe, otherwise we release the street thugs on you.".

Now, I ask everyone, is THIS the way we want to live our lives, and have our children/grandchildren live THEIR lives from here on out?

Are we going to curl up in a ball everytime we hear some street thugs are going to riot?

Hollywood and the media have made sure they build the perception that having blacks mad at you is worse than the "wrath of God", but, it ain't so. They're just people and they can be handled.

The kenyan is hinting "mob violence" from his side, and condeming "mob violence" that doesn't even exist, and has not been threatened from the TEA party movement.

I think we're going to have a job on our hands getting that bunch out of Washington in November, but as my old Grandmother used to say, "A job worth doing, is worth doing well.".

And the parasite class trying to hold onto what was "rightfuly" redistributed to them.

And that includes that part of the "parasite class" that has had, by far, the most "redistributed" to them, big business.
