This movement will not sustain itself for any length of time without organization and leadership. And it is going to take years to turn this country around (if it can be done at all). Right now the movement has momentum and the rats are obligingly adding to this with their serial idiocy. But the intensity cannot be sustained indefinitely and the anger and frustration need focus. And as the rats are turned out of office the provocations will very likely become less intense and there will be great temptation to return to complacency.

There needs to be a platform around which people can rally and around which a coherent message can coalesce. Leadership and organization are needed to keep people engaged and focused. The problem is how to do this and avoid creating an entrenched elite that ultimately succumbs to the complacency and “go along to get along” mentality that afflicts so many in the GOP? I would suggest term limits and make the terms no more than 2 years in length to coincide with the election cycles. And bar anyone who has held a leadership position from holding another for at least 2 years. Also if there is a party HQ - and I assume there would be one - it might be a good idea to shift it around every so often - have it in Kansas City for 4 years then move it to Phoenix for the next 4 then to St. Paul and so on.

Not really the thread to get involved in the subject of term limits, but the scariest thing Dumb0 ever said was that he didn’t care about being a one term president. This simply means that he has absolutely no reason to care about what the country wants since he has resigned himself to losing in 2012. Why care about what voters think if you are not up for re-election?
