"I don't see how JD doesn't beat McCain. Rasmussen:Ninety-one percent (91%) say a candidate’s position on immigration is at least somewhat important to how they will vote, with 67% who say it is very important. "

The only way McCain can win, is the way he's always won....he lies, his supporters lie, and much of the public buys it.

His office repeatedly says he opposes amnesty.

That's what his website says, his ads, his recent speeches. He's a liar. He's a dangerous, twisted, liar supported and put in office by the worst of the worst...mobsters...indicted political buddies...you name it. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out Sarah Palin is terrified of this corrupt old man for some reason or other. I sure wouldn't want McCain on the wrong side of me. I'd rather think that than her excuses for him, because none of them are good enough

For all our sakes, Hayworth, take him out!

MUST SEE! FLUSH THE JOHN! Johnny’s got to go!

This one is hilarious and VERY accurate! (4 minutes!)

Now remember kiddies, it's NOT AMNESTY, it's 'legalization'... so it's just dandy! Same result...20 million democrat voting foreigners get to stay...but it's NOT amnesty.

* May 29, 2003 interview: McCain: “Amnesty has to be an important part because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.“

Dec. 15, 2000 press release: McCain: ”I support the Latino and Immigrant Fairness Act (LIFA). Negotiations between the White House and the leadership, which endorsed more limited immigration reform, have resulted in a compromise.... this bill makes meaningful but insufficient progress on amnesty for those wrongly denied it.“

Here's the proof that McCain's campaign lies about AMNESTY have been effective.

2008

Poll: Voters Unaware of Candidates' Immigration Positions; McCain Supporters Farthest Off the Mark

# Only 34 percent of McCain voters, 42 percent of Clinton voters, and 52 percent of Obama voters correctly identified their candidate as favoring eventual citizenship for illegal immigrants who meet certain requirements.

# Of McCain voters, 35 percent mistakenly thought he favored enforcement that would cause illegals to return home, another 10 percent thought he wanted mass deportations, and 21 percent didn’t know his position.

# Voters often held different positions from the candidate they supported. Only 31 percent of McCain voters had the same immigration position as he does. For Clinton voters, 45 percent shared her position; 61 percent of Obama voters shared his position

Never underestimate teh stupidity of fellow Republicans. Most Republicans thought McCain was anti-amnesty in the Spring of 2008. Willful ignorance, and laziness helped by MSM fraud.
