Hizbullah could tip its rocket arsenal with Iranian-supplied nuclear warheads, a report said. The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies stated that Iran could supply its proxies with tactical nuclear warheads. In a report, BESA said Iran was likely to use its nuclear arsenal to wage what the report termed "nuclear terrorism against Israel."
"Rockets, such as those already in Hizbullah's possession, could be fitted with nuclear warheads."
"The potential means of conducting nuclear terrorism against Israel would be similar to those applicable to other countries sea, air, and land-based with one important addition: rockets," the report, authored by former deputy Israel National Security Advisor Chuck Freilich, said. "Rockets, such as those already in Hizbullah's possession, could be fitted with nuclear warheads." Israel has asserted that Hizbullah accumulated a missile and rocket arsenal of 50,000. The report, titled "The Armageddon Scenario: Israel and the Threat of Nuclear Terrorism," said Israel must prepare immediately for Iranian-sponsored nuclear attacks by Hizbullah or other proxies of Teheran, including Hamas.
"For the past 15 years, Israel's focus on the Iranian nuclear threat has been nearly all-encompassing, eclipsing virtually all other threats," the report said. "While understandable, this preoccupation may have distracted Israel from a threat which may be no less likely and actually far more dangerous; nuclear terrorism. Unlike 'traditional' terrorism, nuclear terrorism poses a catastrophic threat to the state."
Israel's missile and rocket defense system could be ineffective against nuclear warheads. Freilich said Israel's multi-layered system must be hermetic to prevent a nuclear attack.
The report said an Iranian nuclear terrorist threat could be employed to destroy the Jewish state, deter Israeli attacks or weaken government resolve. Freilich said Israel must develop a range of preventive options alone as well as with the United States, including massive military operations.

And they could probably arm them with photon torpedo warheads as well, and lets not forget the phaser cannon they can mount on their star-cruisers.My god, what if they build a death-star?
Bush's fault.
Or,it just might be easier to truck one in?
An atomic bomb will get a bigger effect than a chemical attack.
Of course it would. However, my point was more about what’s available to them now.
That would not be nice.. or wise.
Israel can handle it. They are probably the only western nation that cares about self defense. Problem is, they can’t hold off the world indefinitely.
Except for their psychological impact, and (like all other weapons) their inhumanity, there is nothing particularly devastating about them.
Perhaps. But the Iranian and pan-Muslim strategy is based less on making an attack than on the constant threat of attack and diminishing US support demoralizing Israel and generating an irreversible decline. Already, emigration from Israel is at a high level, and demographic imbalances portend increasing pressure on Israel’s Jewish population. A series of peace deals could then unravel Israel without a war.
As you stated, the psychological impact would be greatest on the civilian population. Jews being gassed again? Don't want to even think about the ramifications of that.
But forgot the other part of my post: there is nothing devestating about them.
There’s a lot of truth in what you say, from a logical standpoint. Problem is.....that doesn’t currently apply to Ahmadinejad, who believes carnage and mayhem must occur to bring about the Madhi’s return.
You could probably speak with some Kurds who would disagree. Unfortunately, there’s a lot more you couldn’t ask.
They blow up people and celebrate it. No thinking person can assume they wont use this.
