This is an excellent point that should be driven home to the powers that be in NOLA.

Any ideas on how to make that happen?

I ain’t a lawyer, but it would seem as if Marriott and other firms invested in NOLA’s tourist sector would have grounds for a RICO suit for actual monetary damages if this crime reduces the town’s appeal for tourists.

That's a great point and I hope they DO IT!!! There's a complication that could make it even better or (hopefully not) cause it to flop. I'm pretty sure SEIU is the union that represents the people who staff the hotels at the cleaning and serving level. I'd expect big time strikes that would harm the big hotels.

OTOH this might be the time to fire every damn striker and replace them with non-union, non-thug real people and maybe even break the back of that incredibly destructive organization.
