"Every day we don't act, the same system that led to bailouts remains in place, ..." Obama said

The government that enacted the bailouts "remains in place". But what really would have happened if the bailouts had not occurred? That is, what if the institutions that were deemed to big to fail had been forced into bankruptcy and handled by the courts instead of CONgress bailing out their bankster buddies?

Giving Obama more power is the current crisis in the making.

I think if we didn't bailout everybody we still would have had a recession.

We should have let let them fail; had a come to reality moment and acknowledged why they failed.... and then prevented it from happening again; ie return to more stringent rules for lending credit.

Stop acting like owning a home or borrowing money is some type of civil right. If you can't or won't pay back the loan money then you don't get lent to. Period.

They then used their "crisis" to pass Porkulous which was no more than a 40 year democrat wish list.

It is just an excuse to waste money and establish control.

Just wait until they decide 0Care is too expensive for all of these businesses that are releasing financial reports....

This manufactured burden will start to push some of them out of business. If you are a democrat friendly business... it will be determined you have too many employees to fail. Such a crisis because unemployment is so high.

It's like watching Atlas Shrugged play out on the news every day.
