I woke up early yesterday (4/15/2010) morning with much excitement in anticipation of the 2010 Tax Day Rochester Tea Party! After I poured myself a cup of coffee, I turned on the TV and tuned it to WHAM TV-13. Mike Deming and Gabe Sukenik were going to be giving interviews. Evan Dawson interviewed Mike and Gabe and also gave reports from Genesee Crossroads Park, the location of the Tea Party. He was fair in his questions and reporting and we all certainly appreciate it!

This is a learning process. This year, we decided to get a professional videographer to record the entire event and it was well worth it. Matt did a great job!
Did you catch Billy Joe, Gypsy Lou and Dave, entertaining the crowd with some great acoustic blues before the formal program started? IMO, they set the street fest tone for the rest of the Tea Party!
The lineup of speakers was terrific, wasn't it! We dispelled the myth that Tea Partiers don't articulate the issues. Our issues were clearly articulated at Genesee Crossroads Park in Downtown Rochester, NY on 4/15/2010!

I couldn’t stay long but I enjoyed it while I was there. I even met a friend that I hadn’t seen in years.
I got there just as the parade starting crossing the river. I left about 30 minutes later. I had to return to work. I enjoyed it very much except my camera battery died. I think next year I will take the day off and spend most of the day there.
