What else can explain the ban of an Israeli ad featuring the Kotel.
"The Temple Mount is in our hands.
These six words, radioed by Mordechai Motta Gur, commander of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade, to his commander Uzi Narkiss on the third day of the Six Day War, resonate to this day in the Israeli consciousness.
These words marked the end of 19 years of Jordanian rule, during which in brazen disregard for Article VII of the 1949 Armistice Agreement Jews were forbidden to visit, let alone pray at, the Western Wall. These words also signified the end of the Jewish peoples humiliating exile from its spiritual focal point.
But Gurs call was not triumphalist. Though shocked by the revelation that Jordan had destroyed Old City synagogues and had paved roads and even latrines with Jewish tombstones from the Mount of Olives, the mood among Israelis was uplifting exuberance which led to magnanimous gestures.
Wasting no time, Prime Minister Levi Eshkol placed the holy places of Jews, Muslims and Christians under the jurisdiction of their respective clergy. Eye-patched, battle-hardened defense minister Moshe Dayan ensured that the Palestinian community and religious leaders, for the most part, remained in their prewar positions, leaving the Muslim Wakf atop the Temple Mount, a move criticized by Israeli hawks.
... But Israels extraordinary efforts go unappreciated.
What else can explain the ban of an Israeli Tourism Ministry ad featuring the Kotel that has been issued by the British Advertising Standards Authority, an independent advertising watchdog?

Fail...
There is a saying/belief in Iceland... that Iceland is where God goes on vacation. That always stuck with me for some reason.
I don’t recall any formal visits by the British Queen to Israel. I could be wrong, but I don’t “feel the love” between the British elites and Israel. That falls in line with the attempt by UK universities to boycott Israeli professors/universities a few years ago. Heck, how is the University of Damascus doing on genetic research these days? Blimey.
REcognize Wales, Scotland, and Cornwall are English occupied.
Scotland is not English occupied.
Scotland is part of the United Kingdom/Great Britain by CHOICE. We joined in 1707. By choice. Unlike Ireland and Wales who were conquered by the English in 1607 and 1284 respectively, England was never able to conquer Scotland and had to invite us to join in 1707.

And if the PA and the others had their way it would be this and worse. They are a sickening, disgusting lot, no way in the world to make peace with such a group of thugs. The king of Jordan is lately jumping into the fray running his mouth. I don’t trust him either.
Culloden and the various Jacobite Rebellions (1715,1745) were never Scottish vs English wars. More Scots fought AGAINST the Jacobites than for them. Many of the Redcoats at Culloden were Scottish soldiers, and several of the Scots regiments went on to be legendary units of the British army.
Even the Highlands were split in 1715 and 45, and as many Highland clans opposed them as supported. And the Jacobites were almost universally opposed in the Lowlands, South West and the Borders.
Sorry, but you are talking to a Scot, and a history buff and graduate at that.
The fact is Scotland has never been conquered by England, and that is why we JOINED voluntarily in 1707.
