Far be it from me to defend 0bama, but, it would be a pity to lose Air Force 1 and its crew to volcanic ash.

The point...Obama could have shown a LITTLE RESPECT by skipping golf! But, we wouldn't want to inconvenience the one by asking him to skip his entertainment for ONE FREAKING DAY.

Obama is about as much a statesman as a whore at Playboy.

He didn’t go.

Did he issue a formal statement, the day of the funeral?

Did he offer any prayers for the people of Poland today, their day of official mourning?

Did he send condolences or sign the condolence book at the Polish Embassy?

Some would say the noblest sacrifice for the country.

Nobody's saying he should fly to Poland. But wouldn't it be nice if he instead spent the afternoon visiting the Polish embassy to express the condolences of the American people, rather than taking the day off and hitting the golf course?

No, that would be too "Bushlike." Too... Presidential.

What a waste of American votes.

To me, that’s not the point ‘ to lose AF 1. I think it’s a HUGE insult to the memory of the souls that went into the earth burning - to play golf. I can understand why he didn’t go. But to play golf when the world is morning 90 some odd people. Obama has no taste, no finesse

i do not believe that he could not have flown somewhere over there and then taken a car or whatever.. If the ambassador can go, why can’t he?

I'm not saying let's get ourselves informed, I'm only saying let's get ourselves a bit less uninformed.

President of Georgia made it to the funeral. From where did he fly? Uhm, from some place called Washington D.C. Uhm...

Not attending due to the volcanic ash is not the real issue. It’s the crassness of playing golf instead of laying low as a sign of respect to the people of Poland.
