The person with even the most tenuous amount of class, manners and respect would have realized that going golfing was the wrong thing to do. Even if having a public memorial was too much for His Zeroness, the least he could have done was kept the lowest of profiles.

Thought #2 is that this was a deliberate flipping of the bird at Poland. You average lib would plotz themselves at the mere suggestion, but the evidence of his treatment of England, Israel and other (former) allies backs it up.
