Not only should he, as President of the United States, have found the time to visit the Polish embassy and to attend a memorial Mass in some Polish-American community - he should, as a former Senator representing the millions-strong Polish community of Illinois, have reached out in a more special and personal way.
He seems to have lost any desire to project an image of a decent or even normal person.
It's obvious he doesn't care about this tragedy and that he doesn't care about the feelings of his former constituents.
What's amazing is that he doesn't even seem to care about how he himself is perceived.
This is not the behavior of a psychologically healthy individual.
And, speaking as someone of Polish ancestry who spent two years in the windy city, most of the area Poles (especially those of the first and second generation) are devoted Democrats. What a friggin’ moron...
This has also struck me as very odd. It seems to show that he knows the people who propelled him to power far outweighed (in numbers/money/influence) any amount of honest, real votes in his district or state.
Seriously, I think this is inevitable because in decency and normal courtesy born of human empathy, Obama is a blank slate. There is zero there; he has zero conscience. He cannot project what he cannot conceive.
This is not the behavior of a psychologically healthy individual.
It's the behavior of a "seriously disturbed 'toon," to quote the money line from "Roger Rabbit" (an oddly fitting movie for today's chaos).
The first behavior of Obama that showed to me how deeply twisted he is, was when he actually accused doctors of amputating feet and limbs of diabetics just to raise their bottom line. Regardless of political ideology, no DECENT, balanced, civilized American adult holds his or her doctors in such low regard because these doctors are real people they know and trust. For Obama to put forth the notion was weird and terrifying in its revealing his true nature.
