THE event on Elian is forever linked to THIS image, not some long drawn out legal decision by partisan men in black dresses.

Jeremiah Wright would say “the chickens came home to roost”. But then he’s a racist hatemonger.

Yes but I didn’t need it shoved in my face this Monday.
Oh yeah, NBC is pushing the EARTH DAY BS all week.
Just change the title to this posting and you will know how I feel about that too.

There is not use for them to keep up the "incrimination by association" with the Wacos and Oklahoma bombings of the world, because there isn't any association with those nutballs and the TEA party movement. The same media that tells us the "Red Scare" was a partisan witchhunt are trying to sell this lie about conservatives. It is PURE partisan hysteria driven by Communist Sympathizers.
Down is up. We are living in an Orwellian nightmare.

Again, who cares? Do you equate that with the death of 168 Americans? Is it probably hard for the media to get access to Elian today? There is more to cover about where Oklahoma City is today than there would be about where a boy you can’t get access to is today.
How hard is it to see that 5 year anniversaries of major events get more coverage than the other ones? Do you think the coverage of the 9-11 anniversary will be bigger this year or next?

Earth Day was established on Vladmir Lenin's 100th birthday. Just what IS the carbon footprint of his giant tomb?

“Not everything revolves around the Tea Party movement 24/7.”
Your joking right?
The Dums are staying awake nights trying to figure out a way to stop the dissent.

I wonder what the Russians were thinking with that red lightening bolt motif. Is this an actual photo of the tomb?

It’ll be interesting to see how Barack handles the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, how he responds to the Truther movement (he calls out Birthers as such, so he’d better address this), and whether or not he will have Jeremiah Wright officiate the prayer or if he’ll have an Imam from CAIR do it instead.
It was INSANE for the White House to be involved in sending troops in to seize a child at gunpoint to send him to a Communist dictatorship. If you don’t see it as a big deal, then I can’t convince you.
50million dead babies from abortion are a bigger tragedy than the horror of OKC. It’s even greater than 20million dead under Stalin.
Are we going to get into a discussion of landmark anniversaries or levels of tragedy?

Bill Clinton gave the game away last week. It’s anti-conservative.

It's an artist's painting. Most of the pictures I can find are either closeups of Lenin's refrigerated corpse or the exterior of the building.
The communist sympathizers in the Green/Red movement need to own up to this waste of resources (IF we truly are “killing the planet” by setting our thermostats to 72 degrees).

1. 15 year anniversary (multple of 5)
2. Diverts attention from
. a. Waco anniversary
. b. Patriots Day in New England
. c. Lexington, MA 1775 shot “heard round the world” / Tea Party
3. Attempt to connect McVeigh to Tea Party. The connection doesn’t exist and is a media fabrication (and a weak one at that).

No, I’m just pointing out that when making decisions about what and how to cover things there are practical concerns.
There is a lot to cover about the OKC bombing. There isn’t a lot you can do with Elian Gonzales. Big deal or not, other than a blurb about it being the anniversary what can be done unless Cuba lets you in to talk to him?
Abortion is way to divisive for any major news organization to cover as a tragedy. What Stalin did isn’t exactly local.
It isn’t just about the tragedy, but the interest people have in it. That is why, the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s suicide made news last year, but not this year. Where his daughter was, the other members of Nirvana, the effect Nirvana still has on music. Those things give you something to cover and stuff people would be interested in, even if not most on FR. There is stuff to cover in OKC. That people think this wouldn’t be happening regardless of the Tea Party movement isn’t accurate.

Yep all apply.
I hate when tragedies are use for political purposes.
Thus my anger.

Freepers have known all along that one day we may be called on to throw off the yoke of tyranny. What did you think that would look like? Did you think that the Brown Shirt Media would suddenly become objective and start reporting facts? Did you think that the gummint would start hand wringing and worrying about how we felt about things once we took up arms against it? When they have made it pretty clear the politicians dont give a rats ass about what we have to say ALREADY! Please tell me you arent serious.
Thankyou....some here forget that the State-run media, Hollywood, Academia, gov buracracies, and the State-run courts have a job to do.
That job is as a war-room for the communist party.
Or do we not think this is a war?
