US-Backed Iraqi Forces Kill Two Top Al-Qaeda Leaders

American-backed Iraqi forces have killed the country’s two senior terrorists in the Al-Qaeda organization, the United States confirmed Monday. American officials said the deaths are a “potentially devastating blow” to the international terror network.

The terrorists were identified as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, Al-Qaeda’s leader in Iraq, and Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, who killed in a house after troops stormed it approximately six miles southwest of the home town of executed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

I greatly hope that this is true but we have heard the reports about killing those two top Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq multiple times and then we find out that the reports are not true. In fact few months ago the Iraqi government announced the arrest of terrorist “Abou Omar Al Baghdadi” but turned out not to be him.

Biden and the administration seem to be hyping this. I don’t get it. When Bush was training these Iraqis they kept saying there was NO Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Now suddenly they are saying Al-Qaeda has been there for years, had leaders worth celebrating killing, and the Iraqis are well trained (by Bush presumably since all Joe and Barack ever said about Iraqi was “We’re leaving soon.”)
