I have been doing some research on this for a while now and have come up with a few sites to get TV on the web.
Bing has a TV link on their main page.
http://tv-online-channels.com/
http://www.ovguide.com/index.html
http://links.amd.com/OnlineVideo

bump for later
I also have an antenna and a PC-TV card.
Here is the best card:

There are USB devices as well.
Both of these have a TIVO type product.
If you want to get serious about a DVR,
Try MythTV - a DVR based on Linux that is awesome. It has a client/server option that can have a server in the basement and any number of systems on your network accessing it.
Freevo.com is a free Tivo system that works with Windows and Linux and every other device that can play digital video.
The biggest thing is to download the schedule for recording.
Most of the cable channels are on line and have video on line as well.

Thanks so much - great list.
When all your research is done, you might want to do a stand alone post for the rest of us. You’ve got some good stuff there...
