There are numerous threads on FR that detail exactly why those announcements are not proof of anything. You really should read up. If they are fraudulent in some way, or called in by gramma even though the little vermin was spawned somewhere else, obviously it would be to help give him US citizenship for convenience, not becuase they thought he’d be president some day. There’s also a bit of evidenve they could have been inserted in microfiche or whatever. No one has seen the originals, just micrfiche or rather copies of the microfiche.
At that time the news papers in HI only printed announcements of some of the births, not all of them. It has not been determined exactly how those births made it into the paper at that time. Now, parents or other relatives can fax or I suppose bring in birth announcements to the papers.
