I write this follow up in response to reader mail regarding my column DC Knows that Obama is Ineligible for Office. Even many conservative columnists and pundits seem confused on the issue of natural born citizen, even though the matter is really quite clear.
Only the people can decide…
But I submit to every American the idea that if Article II—Section I of the US Constitution is no longer worthy of protection and preservation, then nothing in that document matters anymore.
If we fail to uphold Article II—Section I of the US Constitution, then we have failed to uphold, protect, preserve or defend any part of the US Constitution or the American way of life.
If the US Constitution no longer stands, then the United States of America no longer stands.
Is there a more pressing issue on the table today?

A Natural Born Citizen is born in the United States to citizen parents.
Both parent’s must be citizens. Citizenship can be: naturalized, by-statute, or native born.
Natural Born Citizenship is not defined by statute because 1) it is natural law, and 2) it is NOT a form of citizenship.
It’s only purpose is as an eligibility requirement, per Article II, for the U.S.Presidency.
Civil rights statutes don’t apply, as no one has the right to be President.
It’s been obvious from the start this clown’s ineligible. No one hides behind lawyers for something as simple as release of a valid BC unless he’s covering up something big

The fact that both his parents were citizens abroad serving domestic interests does indeed satisfy the requirement.
An argument can be made that only the father needs to be a citizen, however an equally good argument can be made that both must be American citizens.
It’s academic as BHO fails both tests.

It generally means - that a person is born within the sovreign's realm. Exceptions being those children born abroad of parents who are serving abroad in the sovreign's name ...
Given the ease of travelling these days, however, I think that the Founding Fathers would have relaxed that definition to include children born abroad to any parents [in the sovreign's service or not]. However, the foreign residency could not be permanent AND the parents would have to be US citizens ...

YOu conveniently left off the part about Natural Born citizen being born TO citizen parents.
so of course people serving our country overseas and who have children there have natural born children.

The sad thing is, everyone knew about 0's deadbeat, foreign dad, but not enough voters thought that disqualified him. There's very little respect or understanding of our Constitution.
