“Myth”?
Have you seen a valid BC, Christopher?

"Why the "birther" myth refuses to die"
How stupid are these people? Because he wont show his BC or any other documents. Well, other then his books but we all know how credible that source is.

For that to happen, the state Senate would have to pass it and the governor would have to sign it.
So in other words it will have to be passed into law like every other law? LOL

It doesn’t die because people want the truth. If he is a citizen, prove it and get it over with. Until then, people will never trust him.

“White House spokesman Bill Burton”
Yeah, I would put a lot of stock in anything Burton has to say. During the campaign he was all over the media, and was the most arrogant, obnoxious liberal a-hole in a sea of arrogant, obnoxious, liberal a-holes!!

Lame article, the author hasn’t been keeping up. He apparently thinks all Obama has to do his hand over his long form BC showing his birthplace as Hawaii and he’s eligible. No mention of that little natural born technicality.

How is it “fringe” to ensure that the candidates on your presidential ballot are eligible to hold office? Their overly harsh reaction to this could backfire on them.
It makes them look like they are hiding from something....

If he is a citizen, prove it and get it over with. He is a citizen. But that doesn't meet the requirements to be President. He is NOT at "natural born" citizen. He is not qualified to be President.

The latest incarnation: a bill approved 31-22 by the Arizona House of Representatives on Monday that would require 2012 presidential candidates to offer proof of citizenship in order to qualify for the ballot. The proposal has little chance of becoming law. For that to happen, the state Senate would have to pass it and the governor would have to sign it. But it's still the closest birtherism has come to being codified. That's amazing that proving constitutional citizenship to be President is mocked as "birtherism".

I wouldn’t hire anyone without checking out their credentials and either their citizenship or their immigration status. It’s SOP.

At this point, all could be settled if Obama just released the damn thing. Seriously, he is just playing games, toying with everyone. An adult would say, enough is enough, it is EXTREMELY easy to put this to rest...all he has to do is release the original birth certificate. It is up to Obama. He has wasted thousands, if not millions of dollars that could have gone to his pet “social justice” campaign to fight releasing it. He thinks he make his opponents look stupid, but it is the people who support him who are his true patsies. He doesn't respect any of us. None of us. If he were a serious leader, he would have done the easy, pragmatic thing and released his records. He is not a serious leader....and the people who support him are fools.

My mistake......I think I’d rather believe he’s not.

If the lamestream media would do its job, no one else would have to.
This man’s past is a long train of unknowns: is he a British subject? Did he become a citizen of Indonesia? What passports has he held? On what passport did he travel to Pakistan in 1981? What nationality did he claim when entering Occidental College on a scholarship set aside for foreign students? What were his grades there? On what basis was he accepted at Columbia? What were his grades there? What has he written?
Why do the lamestream media not care about these intriguing questions?
That’s why it won’t go away.

The so called “birther myth” has shown us we need more scrutiny before allowing strangers into the White House.
It’s going to get really strange when Obamao refuses to provide proof of his US birth to states with the new requirements. I bet he will forgo being on those ballots rather than show proof he was born in the US.
