Ha, you stole my line about the admitted cowardice of the 2012 team who specifically said they didn’t want to show the Kaaba destroyed in their flick for fear of jihadi retribution.

It absolutely, undeniably WAS Comedy Central that wussed out, rather than Stone and Parker.I still call shenanigans. Between the over-the-top bleeping, and the over-the-top mockery of Jesus and Buddha for contrast, I still smell a ruse. I would love to see a cut of the episode with all mentions/visuals of The False Prophet We Do Not Speak Of in the clear, just for comparison. It couldn't have been as good.
