I totally agree! I don’t think that this is a purely Catholic cause in the least. We do tend to be targeted by the media for it though, and that is what makes people think that it is our cause alone.

I have a Baptist friend who worked with a crisis pregnancy center and I thought that was just awesome!

We all need to do our part!

I don't blame you for feeling the way that you do. As a Catholic it irritates me to no end when I here that a pro death politician got the Catholic vote. I do consider those Catholics to be like the RINO’s, they are CINO’s(Catholic in name only).

However, there are a lot of Catholics that do plenty for the Pro Life cause. Father Pavone is awesome! He is tireless in his efforts and helped to start the “I regret my abortion” movement of which I believe has made a difference. Father Eutenaur(unsure of spelling) is wonderful as well. He tore into Sean Hannity in a very infamous fight that aired on his show regarding Sean's support of the pill and other birth control methods. I love Sean, but he was just plain wrong that time!

I can't agree with you more! The 60’s were this societies downfall for sure.

The so called sexual revolution caused immeasurable harm. For crying out loud, we have 15 year old kids like Miley Cyrus dancing on a pole at a kids awards show and you have her bonehead father defending it. And did you get a gander at the clothing line that her 9 year old sister was helping to advertise? Despicable!

I don't see the insanity of it all stopping any time soon. It will stop when the Lord has had enough! I think that will be sooner rather than later!

Are there any Christian organizations that include varying faiths in regards to the fight against abortion?

Yes, to infer that the Catholics do little for the pro-Life cause (not you; but others have) is ignorant at best, and I thank you for bringing up Frs. Pavone and Euteneuer. (Fr. Euteneuer's site is the one that featured this birth control story by the way.)

We do NOT pray TO Mary, we ask her to pray for us just as we often ask others to pray for us. As for “...going to Mass...”, again, if going to Church and prayer are not the highest answer, what is?

Thank you for your continual and tireless support of the Catholic faith. It's appreciated more than you know. If you have a Catholic ping list, I'd like to be included, please ...

humblegunner asks?
Should people have more kids than they can afford to raise?

Are you willing to pay for the little darlings? Hmmm?

I ask, who can "afford" to raise children? If parents truly cannot, then are there answers (other than infanticide)?

Orphans and Orphanages

Plato (Laws, 927) says:—"Orphans should be placed under the care of public guardians. Men should have a fear of the loneliness of orphans and of the souls of their departed parents. A man should love the unfortunate orphan of whom he is guardian as if he were his own child. He should be as careful and as diligent in the management of the orphan's property as of his own or even more careful still."

Fair enough - follow the link though and you will find how his advice coupled with the Gospel became the engine for the orphans of the world to be cared for and loved.

Oh, and to answer your question, YES!

I'm suggesting that birth control is better than having a whole platoon of kids you can't take care of.

I thought that was quite clear.
