Obama is horrid, but I still don't miss George Bush in the least. After all, Bush and the GOP-dominated congress helped give the Democrats total control. These jokers could have done so much, yet they accomplished so little.

I want a real conservative like Palin, DeMint, Thune or Pence.

I think you should read this. He wasn’t perfect, but left at least some great marks.

Not in the least?

Let's see.......that means you don't miss a President with:

*Courage
*Class*Integrity
*Honor
*A strong pro-life record (better than any other before him
*Love of the military, and mutual respect and love from them
*Willingness to fight the enemy at the expense of his own popularity
*Love of country and deep patriotism

It seems that even if you are a pure and holy conservative, that you would miss something about him.

That you don't seems to say more about you than it does about him.

I know, GWB was so terrible. You’re right, he did absolutely nothing right.

Look at all the terrorist attacks that destroyed so many of our cities on or after Sept. 12, 2001. The rubble continues to smolder in every major American city because Bush did nothing.

When will we ever do anything about the terrorists?

Oh wait ...

(shaking my head at the silly demands for purity and perfection — or bust — by all too many people)

-George

You are right of course.

But die hard Bush personality cultists will not agree.

“....GOP-dominated congress helped give the Democrats total control.”

I dispute your assertion that the GOP had Control of the Congress during the Bush years....The Democrats held at least one house of Congress for 4 of 8 years....the remaining 4 years the Republicans held bare Majorities by Brand identification, however, given the voting proclivities of McCain, Collins, Snowe, Chafee, Graham, et al, you could make a reasonable case that the Democrats effectively held the Congress the entire 8 years of the Bush years......

Bush failure?

No .....your’s and mine for not electing more real Republicans/Conservatives to congress....lets look in the mirror and place the blame where it belongs....on the voters.....on you....on me....

Bashing Bush?.....You never win by agreeing with your opposition..... Learned that one in grammar school B Ball.......

Why go about spouting Democrat talking points? What do we gain by that?........

Electing Palin, DeMint, Thune, or Pence, does not solve anything if you do not back that choice with a strongly held Conservative Congress....... Despite your apparent view, The Presidency is not like being elected King.... A President does not govern by Presidential Proclamation......

The Branches of Government are co-equal ya know......
