Eliminate the US department of education and put control of schools back in local hands.

Some districts will fail but they’re cancerous anyway. If the parents of kids in those failed districts care, they’ll send their kids to a decent district.

Here in my county we have some schools doing well and others failing and the only thing the liberals can think of is combining all the districts so they can fail together.

The department of education should have been eliminated long ago. Look how much money could be saved, and I am not an expert

I could eliminate billions from the federal budget with the elimination of 3 agencies.

Department of education

HUD

EPA.

Almost every person with half a brain knows that! Look who runs the place, sub-humans like Marion Barry and the rest of the DC. Mafia! Charter schools are the only answer to clean out the sewer that is the DC school system.

“I could eliminate billions from the federal budget with the elimination of 3 agencies.”

I often dream of that before I fall asleep.

One of the serious conceptual hurdles is what to do about a population that does not value literacy for their whelps. That describes the attitude of most inner city communities regardless of what anybody says... It is not called the Liberal Plantation for nothing. Why improve you lot in life when the gubmint will continue to reward you for profligacy?

I happened to catch part of an interview with a football draftee yesterday. He was talking about the "stigma" of coming from a school known for academics.
