It was because of uneducated, uninformed folks who fell for the lies of the Onama administration. They were told over and over that all the problems in their lives resulted from George Bush’s presidency and that Obama would give them this grand utopia where all their problems would be solved and they would be free from worry. They failed to realize that (a) a lot of their problems were the result of their own irresponsibility; (b) there is no such thing as utopia; and (c) all those promises made by Obama would come to fruition at the cost of their freedom.
