Between now and the 2012 elections, I am expecting at least one state to enact a law that will NOT allow a substitute for the original, despite whatever Hawaii says is their SOP.

Some states no longer “do” original paper copies. Would their citizens be ineligible to be on the Presidential ballot?

Sorry, but a COLB from Hawaii DOH (assuming it IS from Hawaii DOH), will legally satisfy all requirements for proof of birth under the full faith and credit clause.

But keep pinning your hope on the long-shot instead of working towards an electoral majority that defeats 0bama, if that is what you think is going to work. I don't.
