Maybe I'm not looking at it right but I don't see much of a resemblance to either the Rutherford-Bohr model or an Islamic crescent moon. It looks like some weird logo that someone was paid all too much money to design.

The symbol in my link in post 103 is a circle within a circle. So is the symbol used at Obama's conference.

According to Link 2 the significance of the circle within a circle to Muslims is that the outer circle represents Islam and the inner circle represents the earth. In other words, the outer circle represents Islamic domination of the planet.

As Link 2 shows, the circle within a circle symbolism has been used by various Muslim groups over the years. Americans might not recognize what it symbolizes, but those Muslim groups would. Similar comments can be made about the image in post 62.

Are the Islamic aspects of these Obama images inadvertent? Perhaps, perhaps not. Inappropriate? Yes.
