You forgot the next section after your highlighted portion:

"That nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations."

I hate it, but its true. In New York that f#@$@%#kin UN flag is displayed in a superior position to our flag.

It should only be so at the United Nations building, not the whole city of NYC.

Embassies are considered territory of the nation they represent, so their flags are flown highest at their embassies.

Everywhere else in the United States and it territories, the US flag is never to be placed inferior to other flags. Liberals think differently, but they are wrong.
