Did Obama hide damning health-care report ?

Following release of an official report that estimates "Obamacare" will cost $311 billion more than advertised and could force 14 million Americans off their employer-provided insurance, a new allegation has surfaced that the White House knew of the unflattering analysis weeks before the health-care bill was passed and intentionally hid it from Congress.

According to a controversial article in the American Spectator, the Medicare and Medicaid Office of the Actuary delivered the damning report to the Department of Health and Human Services weeks before Congress voted on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius refused to review it until after the vote.

"The reason we were given was that they did not want to influence the vote," an unnamed HHS source reportedly told American Spectator.

"We know a copy was sent to the White House via their legislative affairs staff," the HHS staffer reportedly said, "and there were a number of meetings here almost right after the analysis was submitted to the secretary's office. Everyone went into lockdown, and people here were too scared to go public with the report."

The quotes were quickly picked up by FoxNews.com, Big Government.com, blogs and even radio host Rush Limbaugh:

"So everybody knew. Everybody knew that Obamacare would ratchet up the cost. That news was suppressed," Limbaugh said on his show yesterday. "Sebelius didn't want to read it on purpose, saying she 'didn't want to affect the vote.'"

Wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened. I recall President Bush did something like this a few years back with the medicare expansion and the real cost.

So by a few votes, one of the biggest socialistic programs in US history, and government intervention in 1/6 of the US economy passes, with payoffs and coercion, and with vital information withheld from the public. Do we really have representative government?

This needs to go virul. While all the RATS are busy defending the assinine white house estimates, BO withheld the truth from HIS OWN PARTY - making FOOLS of all of them. Ya think repub challangers might just point this out leading up to November??? What more will it take for the RATS to realize they aren’t part of this little boy’s administration.

Not only that concern, but the Dems (Congress) submitted multiple, changing assumptions to the CBO which determined the CBOs results until satisfactory ones were artificially produced. The CBO accountants had been worked overtime in a hundred crash hours to get a politically acceptible report. Bad assumptions in, bad results out, ...successfully passed bill by a thoroughly corrupted Congressional political process to effect adverse controls on 300 million people.

Secretary Kitty Cat should be forced to resign from her post. She was a bad Gov in Kansas and now has proven to be a fraud in Washington.

Today on twitter Jake Tapper of ABC pushed his blog post insisting this story was a “lie” ....

My reply was - if this report was NOT actually prepared and known BEFORE THE VOTE - then it SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!

Ample time was available to assess hc bill impacts - but dems wanted so to preserve called “plausable deniability”

What!! You can’t be suggesting that Barack Obama would lie would you? Why Barack Obama has never been known to tell a lie. Except every time he moves his lips.

It sounds like they are saying we didn't know about it because Kathleen Sebelius didn't review it until after the vote. In other words they think they are covered.
