When you are observed breaking the law you will be asked for identification. Is that a problem?

Let’s stop making mountains out of molehills. Marco Rubio says that he is troubled by certain aspects of the AZ law, and it is clear from his words that he got his info from media accounts of the law (as did Jeb Bush and countless other Republicans) and that the law does not do any of the things that he is troubled by. No one would favor a law that would allow the police, for example, to go into a church and demand that all Hispanics sitting in the pews prove that they’re citizens or permanent residents or else get arrested on the spot. Of course, the AZ law does not do that—only when tbe police has otherwise apprehended a person (such as in a traffic stop) would they ask for ID, and not having it on you would not lead to arrest if your legal status can otherwise be ascertained (which the cop can probably do easily on his computer).

Let’s educate people about what the law says and not start calling conservatives “RINOs.”

Jeb isn’t a conservative. He has long been an amnesty supporter and his son - whom they are grooming for politics - is absolutely vile.

There should be none, right? That is unless one is obsessed with the idea of racial profiling, as some are. My brother was a municipal judge, and he often hard complaint from defense attorney's about racial profiling by Oklahoma state troopers, who pulled over rattletrap cars. Most of the timetheywerebeing driven by hispanics, and often hispanics who were probably illegal. Moral of the story, if you don't want to stopped by the cops, don't call attention to yourself.
