I don’t get it - why in so many languages?? The signs on the roads are IN ENGLISH!!! So, what good does it do to put the exams in different languages?

A friend of the family’s went to airplane mechanics school in Oklahoma in the 80’s. He said at orientation, the head of the school, (a retired military officer) ended his speech by looking out over the crowd that was made up of a lot of foriegn students and said, (picture a Patton voice bellowing this) “And I want all of you foriegn students to go to the library, do some reading, find out what it is that Americans don’t like....and then don’t do that!”
