But pressure from immigration reform advocates and the seriousness of Arizona’s new law may force Obama to act. Attorney General Eric Holder said the Justice Department may pursue legal action.
“I’m very concerned about the wedge that [the new law] could drive between communities that law enforcement is supposed to serve and those of us in law enforcement,” Holder said at a news conference.

The ink is barely dry on Arizona’s new immigration control law and President Obama has already threatened to take legal action against the measure even though it was adopted from the federal statute that’s rarely enforced...
The law marks an unprecedented effort by a state to take immigration matters into its own hands since immigration offenses are currently violations of federal law that cannot be enforced by local police.

Napolitano told a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee the Justice Department was reviewing “whether the law meets constitutional safeguards”.
He needs to see if Obamacare is Constitutional while he’s at it.

The Mexicans pulled this before, after the grito de San Diego about 1915 ..... bands of Mexican-Americans and Mexicans roamed the Rio Grande Valley, murdering white Texas farmers with tools or whatever was at hand. The idea was to "roll back" the white presence right out of South Texas.
The Mexican racists have been crying "foul" and "they done us wrong" ever since the Texas Rangers showed up and organized the farmers, then went looking for the troublemakers. For years, if a Mexican even looked funny at a white person, he could get killed -- so I guess the "tension" persisted for a while.

The more the protests and such threats by illegal aliens and their admirers are shown in the media, the more people will turn against them

Seems like the upcoming rallies would be a great place for Arizona law enforcement to begin enforcing the new law.
