“Good? Remember what happened in NY-23?”

I think you’re wrong. Marco still leads by 7 in a 3 way race

and most importantly Jeb Bush, Connie Mack Jr and Sr, and every elected Repub in the State will now go after Crist with a vengeance. Also, this quote from the Ras article:

“Rubio now leads among Republicans and unaffiliated voters with Crist in second. Among Democrats, Meek earns 46% support, while Crist picks up 33% of the Democratic vote.”

The fact is Crist hurts Meek (D) more than Rubio (R).

I heard Rush. And I understand people seeing Rubio as doing little bit of verbal two-step. But reading his statement, I see him essentially blaming the Feds for not enforcing immigration law and saying AZ had had enough and was forced to take matters into their own hands. I think it’s possible people who believe that, can honestly foresee some “unintended consequences” of this law. I don’t think that makes someone a RINO or “anti-American” or pro-amnesty. I think we can have honest differences of opinion on that point while still agreeing something had to be done. I guess Rubio could be accused of politicaleze, but not to the extent that he’d lose my vote were I a Floridian.

I don’t think Rubio has lost any support, in fact if Crist does bolt then I believe Rubio’s numbers will go up.

well he has here just today

Rubio could not take stand and actually said he is troubled by AZ bill
when I called him and others have his staff has been saying that they have a problem with the bill because they think police can stop anyone when ever they want so why not give them a call then and let them know that the bill does not let the cops do this

If this is the sign of things to come for a vote from my state then forget it.

You call him and let me know if he has changed his mind on now drilling he has a problem and now immigration

I was like you this morning until I called and went to the source

many here are finding out more and more about Rubio and it is not looking good unless he takes a stand comes out with more of a conservative stance

The fact is Crist hurts Meek (D) more than Rubio (R).

That may not matter if Crist is elected senator and votes with the leftists 90% of the time (not to mention that embittered RINOS defect to the D party).

How could that happen, you ask? If Rubio gets less than 50% of the vote in a 3 way race, and Crist comes in 2nd, in the runoff Crist will get the Dem votes plus "moderate R" votes. If Crist does come in 2nd in the 3 way, pray that there are enough Tea Partiers voting against Crist.

But at least we don't have to worry about Dems voting in the R primary now.

I like Rubio, I’ve donated to him and I look forward to donating more in the future. He is a conservative.

Crist communications director Andrea Saul insisted that the only people talking about the "fantasy" of the governor running as an independent are the Rubio forces who "realize that as the truth comes out about Rubio's use of public office for private gain, he has as much chance of winning as Charlie Crist spending more than $20 bucks on a haircut."

What a jerk. He won’t win.

Is he just trying to help the Rat win?

He will get himself a nice ambassadorship from his buddy zer0, for Ross Perot-ing the election to the Dhimmicrat.

I believe Florida is a plurality of the votes, not majority...this POS could split enough votes off Rubio to win it for the dems outright.

He is a lying two faced RINO and deserves to be cast to the street for this one. Frankly if Rubio does not win, I hope Meeks takes it just to shove it up his backside.

“Rubio with his Arizona stance might just have lost this election. I am upset with all the knee jerk reactions with this law ARIZONA passed. Do these folks even know WHY they passed such a law and did they even READ the bill before spouting off.”

Did you even READ what Marco Rubio said (all of it, not just the one snippet that liberals want you to read) before spouting off against him? He said that, *based on the media reports he had read about the law*, he was concerned about some aspects of it (and who wouldn’t, based on what the media was saying), but he then proceeded to explain how we needed to secure the border. Rubio does *not* support amnesty, and any conservative who refuses to support Rubio over what he said (which, I will be the first to admit, was a foolish statement because he should have known better than to trust media accounts of the AZ law) deserves to have his head examined.

I’m sure that liberal traitor Charlie Crist would love for conservatives to turn their backs on Rubio and allow him (or Democrat Kendrick Meek) to win, but fortunately we have 6 months until the election and I’m sure that every conservative will be firmly in Rubio’s corner.
