Sharpton and his crew descend on Arizona
American Thinker ^ | April 28, 2010 | Jeannie DeAngelis

It is comforting to know Al Sharpton's coif goes well with Arpaio provided pink underwear.  The Right Reverend Sharpton has expressed plans to descend on the streets of Arizona to protest Governor Jan Brewer's new immigration bill. Sharpton appears eager to join Lillian Rodriguez Lopez of New York City's Hispanic Federation, as well as other activists fighting the Arizona law, by participating in acts of civil disobedience.

Obama's Harvard Law School professor, Charles Ogletree recently spoke about the National Action Network leader saying, "Sharpton is a conduit between the disadvantaged and powerful leaders." Ogletree maintains the civil rights activist"has access to both the streets and the suites, to make sure that the people who are voiceless, faceless and powerless finally have some say," People such as ½ million voiceless, faceless and powerless criminals carousing the streets in Arizona?

According to Ogletree, on the streets Reverend Sharpton is President Obama's "lightning rod. "Sharpton maintains that when invited to the White House it's not as a mere visitor, but as an "administration ally." Working in tandem, Barry designs the sandwich board and then sends Al Sharpton to lead the parade.

Now it appears as if Al has been commissioned to head westward toward the Grand Canyon to protect Obama's true agenda.Mouthpiece Sharpton will speak on behalf of America's post racial president who condemned Arizona's immigration bill as being, "irresponsible," "unfair," and potentially "illegal."

Inundated with immigrants from Mexico and Central America the state of Arizona instituted an immigration law that is the toughest in the nation.  The bill "toughens restrictions on hiring illegal immigrants for day labor and knowingly transporting them."  The Arizona law also "requires local police to stop and demand proof of citizenship from anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant,"but critics such as Barry and Al believe imposing the law encourages racial profiling.

In response, Al is primed and pumped to disobey civil law, which is loosely defined as"an effort to induce change in policy or legislation, through passive resistance or other nonviolent means."  Does Sharpton really believe defending those who live outside the law exposes true racial injustice?

Sharpton vows to descend on Arizona with "freedom walkers" from across the nation. "Where we will walk down the streets with no ID and submit ourselves to arrest."  Sharpton asks, "What is the difference between us and any Mexican or any Haitian or anyone else?" For U.S.citizens, there is no difference.  However, disparity exists if picked up without documentation, making catcalls in a foreign language, while riding shotgun in a Chevy El Camino.

Sharpton voices the opinion that, "This law is anti-American, it's anti-Latino, its anti-immigrant, it is unconstitutional." The always-debonair Al remains eager to scuff up a perfectly good pair of Berluti shoes to passionately prove, regardless of skin color, intruders breaking the law, should be allowed to continue breaking the law.

Reverend Sharpton stated
the Arizona bill is, "like a malignant tumor. A tumor in the state of Arizona that if we allow it to grow and fester-will become a cancer in the entire country," Hey Al, a deadly tumor isn't always a bad thing like when terminal cancer kills off a death row inmate before having to expend cost and energy to administer a lethal injection.

Either way, Sheriff Arpaio is on the job and ready outfit hair coiffed civil disobeyers in fashionable prison garb.  So before Al makes a firm commitment to be arrested in Arizona maybe the reverend should cover all bases by making sure inmates of Tent City have Joe's permission to use hairspray.

You know - the big pink elephant in the room that all seem to want to overlook -

Even if only freedom-loving, hard-working, saintly people were crossing the borders illegally, this would be less than desirable. Why? Because it completely ignores the reason they are LEAVING their country of origin. Mexico is a hell-hole. Most of the other common Central-American nations other Hispanic illegals come from are also 3rd-world trash heaps. So even if these illegals were such great folks - they are leaving a worse void in their home nation.

By coming here, they are turning their backs on improving things at home.

And to take it farther - the reality is - many criminals and other troublemakers make up a good chunk of the illegal population here.

And we haven’t even broached the whole issue of unemployed Americans... hovering officially near 10% (the real number is likely higher). Yet there are still millions of illegals employed across this nation.

Yeah Al, that's really going to gain a lot of support.... NOT!

You're stupid for trying it, these aren't American citizens we're talking about. The law is designed to expel foreign invaders.
Some of the idiots may fall for it, but the majority won't.

How is racism involved, at least with non-hispanic whites. Hispanics are caucasian too, are they not?

"civil rights activist"

Never has there been a more meaningless term.

“It blows me away when Hannity pals with him...”

#####

“My very good friend, Al Sharpton....”

Doesn’t Hannity understand we are literally at war with the likes of criminal extortionists and race warfare purveyors like Sharpton?

Well, at least we conservatives are, but perhaps that really doesn’t include the likes of media elites like Hannity. O’Ego is not even worth considering.

I do not believe that 95% figure of blacks supporting Obama/Sharpton etc. that the media throws around.

You’ll appreciate this.

Everyone should go here to hear Terry Anderson’s rant against Sharpton.

This should be good.

You know, the left is pushing this country into a showdown which it is going to lose.

People are finally being pushed to their limit and are going to really start fighting back.

I fear that things are going to be getting ugly soon enough.

I agree...When the person in the WH does everything he can to get the legislative branch to push his agenda and the majority of the people are against that agenda something has to give. This is what Zer0 is trying to do and the people are fed up.

Not too difficult to believe the Chicago thug in the WH sent hustler and race baiter Sharpton to do his dirty work in AZ.

Not surprising. Sharpton is one of the few ODumbo allows to use the White House front door.

RE: “This is great news. Sharpton is connected with Obama. Guilt by association can be a wonderful thing at times.”

Excellent! When is Jesse Jackson going, along with Rev. Wright? Soon, I hope — need to get as many racist thugs into AZ as possible.
Could change some minds of those who at first thought this AZ ‘law’ was a bad idea. You push some people, even leftists, too far — and they might have a change of heart.

I think that the left has encountered so little real resistance to it’s policies and legislation that they’ve concluded that the people really don’t care and that the time was right for them to finally start making their moves to socialize the country and run it as THEY see fit.

Of course, winning the last election as they did, just reinforced that thinking.

The problem is, they haven’t been listening to the people and didn’t count on people finally waking up and smelling the coffee.

Where they’ve made their mistake, I think, is in not more completely disarming the populace. They aren’t going to be able to push through what they want without a lot of resistance from the grassroots and armed resistance at that.

And I also think that a lot of people who were on the fence have been pushed over the edge, but not in the direction the left wanted them to go.

It just never occurred to them that we DON’T want someone protecting us from ourselves, and running our lives for us, and making our healthcare decisions for us, and bailing out deadbeats, and handing out our hard earned money that they taxed us our of, etc...

Re: “Heard people were boycotting “Arizona Iced Tea”...One saying it was the drink of redneck racists....because it came from Arizona....

Uhhhhhhh.....”Arizona Iced Tea” is produced, bottled, and distributed from Nassau County, New York....*ROFL*”

***************

The idiot mayor of SF, Gavin Newsom, has of course ordered city employees to stay out of AZ (what would they have been doing there anyway?)

But...I thought - why not boycott Rice-A-Roni - “The San Francisco Treat?” Well, fine idea but as with AZ Iced Tea, it’s produced/distributed elsewhere — Illinois I believe it said on the box.

Maybe boycott that sour dough bread from SF? It’s always stale by the time it gets to LA anyway.........

You’re right about the people on the fence being pushed the wrong way for the leftists and it seems there are many.

Those I’s that wanted change are getting it but it’s not to their liking or the change they expected, he’ll not get those people back.
