Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (AP Photo) (CNSNews.com) -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, while testifying before a Senate panel, said the United States’s southwest border is “as secure now as it has ever been.”
“I say this again as someone who has walked that border,” she said. “I’ve ridden that border. I’ve flown it. I’ve driven it. I know that border I think as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been.”
Napolitano made that remark in response to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who was questioning her during Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the oversight of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Before being appointed secretary of Homeland Security, Napolitano served as the governor and attorney general of Arizona, where currently an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants reside. Arizona is also the state with the most illegal border crossings.

Probably not as well as the average coyote, who doesn’t
find it daunting at all.
Which may be true but that certainly isn't saying much. This problem has been festering for years and years and people in Arizona are finally fed up with the lack of government action.

AND the goofball is from Arizona. She ought to know better.
Guess she is just another obama lackey who thinks and speaks what she is told.
She also said a question whether the borders were secure was “not a fair question”
....which means that it NEVER has been secured.
She’s flown it?? I guess that broom she’s on is flying so fast its hard to see the real situation.
Hasn't been secure in at least 50 years, I'd guess.
The border is an imaginary line.
Nothing can happen to it.
It is the American cities which are at risk.
And they are are open to terrorists, courtesy of Congress
who should be held accountable.
