First they lose the family throne, then word gets out that Patches was doing vodka shots after giving a talk on his history of substance abuse, and finally -- and most ignominiously -- the feds have approved a permit for a giant wind farm that will, horror of horrors, mar the ocean view at the Kennedy's Hyannis Port compound. How about this for a vituperative and wounded quote:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer and nephew of the late senator, said the decision will cost Massachusetts taxpayers "billions of dollars" over the next two decades....snip...
This battle is far from over. But it does the heart good to see the Kennedy clan at least worrying that they might have to suffer even the smallest of slights.

Hmm?!?
I'm not saying that is wrong. But I seem to recall these 'wind mills' would be like five miles from shore and basically invisible from land. And Fatso's main objection to them being that it would 'ruin his sailing'(1)
In any case it's about time that inbred Shanty Irish crime family got its comeuppance.(2)
(1) Create a hazard in navigable waters
(2) I'm ½ Irish so I can say that ;-)
So he’s an environmental lawyer and he’ll have windmills in his backyard...sweet!
I don't know where you live, but here on the northern Great Lakes, you can see islands that are over 20 miles away. And, they're not 400 hundred feet tall.
But,all in all,it's great to see that smarmy POS Robert Kennedy eat his liver over this one.
The left already know that wind generation is a scam.
Yes,it will cost BILLIONS to generate MILLIONS in power;the rational answer is nuclear power plants, the one thing the French got right.
A local radio personality coined a word - Windmilling.
Refers to environmentalists fighting environmentalists over environmental projects.
I live in the Chi area, and grew up in Chi.
And in case you missed it in my post, I stipulated that it was what "I Recalled Reading". And that was way back when Fatso first raised a stink about these.
So lighten up, it's Friday.
“Yes,it will cost BILLIONS to generate MILLIONS in power;the rational answer is nuclear power plants, the one thing the French got right”
True, coal is dirty, wind is not there when the the load is.
A true Greenie would want nuclear.
But wait there is more...they keep shooting their toes off for the sake of “mother earth.”
Coal is not dirty. Dirty is now equated with emitting CO2 and that is actually harmless and certainly clean.
The power plants have been fitted with scrubbers and the emissions scrubbed clean. Then CO2 became the issue. CO2 is not a problem.
The greenies and their presstiutes are liars. You have been duped
I did a junior high school debate in the late 1970’s about nuclear power. It’s been clear since at least that period that nuclear power was the way to go environmentally . . . but the fear of the unknown is what is used by the left. I still don’t understand the left’s compulsion to do the opposite of what makes sense.
Okay, I got it.
I’m lightening, I’m lightening!
Ahhh, that’s much better....
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.doesn’t seem to have much problem with the US Great Plains being littered with virtual forests of these wind turbines blocking our view and wasting our money. Of course we are just ignorant bumpkins who live in flyover country and are of no account.
You mean like the costs and overruns on the "Big Dig"? Only that wasn't just Mass taxpayers who layed out billions.
Yes. There’s nothing to see out here except grass and wildflowers and miles of fresh turned earth, and fields of corn, etc. It’s not like watching the elites sailing around in their boats in their drugged out stupors...
Ha ha. Ruin his sailing when he was drunk.
